Meet a Provider

Adrian Sheridan

Adrian Sheridan, Workplace Health Provider (NSW)

What do you like most about your job?

I love the work environment and working onsite at organisations with a team to achieve the best results: HR, First Aid, managers, and supervisors, all backed up with great support from everyone at Work Healthy Australia.

After being in private practice for 30 years, working in a new work environment, having new challenges, new skill sets and different clinical problems to solve is very enjoyable.

What is the most common piece of advice you give to clients?

Treating the painful complaint is not just about the wrist, shoulder, or low back. It is also about listening to their story, assessing their stress levels at work and home, lifestyle factors, hobbies, sport, etc and showing the worker that they are appreciated, listened to and supported.

What would you say to someone who is unsure about whether Work Healthy Australia would help their business?

Having Work Healthy Australia onsite sends a strong message to employees that you care about their health and wellbeing. That has flow on effects beyond the treatment room. Less stressed happy workers are good for the company.

How do you stay healthy?

I scuba dive, go to the gym four days a week and do two long walks each week around Leeton, NSW.
