Meet a Provider

Matt McClelland, Workplace Health Provider and State Operations Manager – Queensland

Headshot of Matt McClelland

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy treating a variety of complex injuries from head to toe. I also love engaging with workers from diverse cultural backgrounds and working with colleagues who really care about the impact they have.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

On a typical day, I will engage with my team for ongoing training opportunities, navigate schedule changes with the Operations Team, and respond to different requests from our clients. No day is the same, and I enjoy the variety and challenges that I’m presented with at work. Recently, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment through ACU.

What would you say to someone who is unsure about whether Work Healthy Australia would help their business?

Work Healthy Australia is not just a third-party injury management company that helps manage injuries. We partner with businesses deeply through the data retrieved from our service to help build a program that truly works for the company.

How do you stay healthy?

I play a lot of tennis, go to the gym and run, although probably not as much as I should. My partner and I grow a lot of our salads and vegetables in our garden and we raise egg-laying hens. All of this helps us stay healthy.
