No day is the same when treating within this industry. We can encounter an array of injuries which keeps me on my toes. I really enjoy working with patients who need a bit of motivation and helping them make changes to live and work pain free. Sometimes simple advice and education can make a huge difference to a patient’s outcome.
Even the smallest bit of exercise is better than no exercise. Small changes in your daily habits can lead to long-term benefits. Keeping exercises and stretches simple and easy to follow will lead to a better functioning body.
There’s nothing to lose and so much to gain from an appointment. Whether it is treatment and advice on acute injuries or given exercises and stretches to reduce the likelihood of injuries recurring, you will at least walk out of the appointment feeling lighter and taller.
I’m a believer in staying healthy by keeping on top of key aspects of health – sleep, exercise, diet and enjoying life. Sleep underpins so many aspects of our life and it is often under appreciated. I work out 5-6 days a week, focusing on form and stressing the body. Paired with a well-balanced diet and getting out and enjoying a beer and exploring new adventures in life.
