Workplace Pain Education Pilot
This initiative is designed to build the capability of your supervisors and managers in understanding the complexities of pain and effectively supporting workers who may be experiencing it. The program was recently trialled in both face-to-face and online delivery formats, receiving positive engagement from participants. Feedback is now being reviewed, with refinements underway ahead of a broader rollout in the coming months.
In partnership with The Opus Centre, who are specialists in workplace psychosocial risk, we recently delivered a Psychosocial Risk Assessment survey at a client site. The initiative achieved an encouraging response rate of 58%. Data analysis is now underway, with findings to be shared and workshopped with the client in the coming weeks. Feedback from this process will help inform the possible extension of the initiative to further locations.
Work Healthy Australia continues to explore innovative occupational safety solutions. We are currently trialling wearable devices and sensor-based technologies in partnership with several clients to enhance risk assessment and task analysis capabilities.
